Everybody has a story – unique to you!
Every day we are writing our story, but how often do you take the time to read back your story, or how often do you invest in an external support to help you edit what you don’t want to carry into your future.
Not everyone needs to know your story. I in Clear Vision Counselling would like to support you in a safe space to tell your story – the parts that you are able to tell. This will allow you the space to process your story and offer hope as you allow yourself to let go of some things to heal in your story.
It takes courage to process your story but don’t hold off expecting things to go away. Invest in yourself - you won’t regret it.
Foster a culture of well being for workplace Mental Health
Staff mental wellbeing in the workplace is now recognised as a serious business threat, with staff sickness and personal issues negatively impacting productivity and the overall organisational culture. Looking after the wellbeing of workers is now seen as a key enabler to the success of the business. Each of us have our own unique Life Story, which colours the way we approach things, handle events and how we lead our lives.
Our Life Story starts before we were born, through core beliefs, mindsets and behaviour patterns, handed down through our parents, and from their parents before. Circumstances, events and individuals then shape our Life Story, which can directly impact both our mental and physical health.
Our Life Story places constraints and anxieties on each of us, which we may be unaware of, about our ability to handle everyday events, situations and people, as well as how we approach life in general. This can create a set of barriers to achieving life balance, not knowing how to move forward.
The ‘Different Language’ is a 2 hour stand alone ‘non reveal’ workshop, which is needed to help us look afresh at how we go about self-care, not only for our body, but for our mind, will and emotions- the part that powers all of us. It sets our life story in context, and supports a positive mindset, personal, flexible approach to mental health and opening an honest conversation about removing the stigma that surrounds it. It provides a roadmap for the way forward.Happy staff are more mentally engaged and focused. They are more accountable and responsible positively influencing organisational culture, attendance levels and overall company productivity.
